No.1 Beard Colouring Book - Out Now!!

Like beards? Like colouring in? Then look no further....this is just for you!

No.1 Beard Colouring Book

Colouring books are in vogue. Most of them are nice mindful floral patterns - which is great, but it's not for everyone. So I have created a new genre of colouring book for creative types who admire beards.

The book contains 30 quirky illustrations hand drawn in pen and ink. Inside you will find a whole range of handsome bearded men in various situations – gentlemen, heroes, villains, hipsters, animal lovers and many more! Some images are inspired by #beard photos I have seen on Instagram, or men in real life, men from film & tv and some have just come from my imagination!

Colouring artists can relax and colour in the illustrations and even add their own line drawings to make them your own. Every image includes a different scenario and bearded character for you to colour in any way you desire. This colouring book is the perfect size for travelling and will fit effortlessly in your handbag or backpack. It is an ideal gift for beard and colouring lovers alike.

I know there is a colouring pencil shortage and I'm now part of the problem, but I'm okay with this.

The book is published with createspace and is available through - globally.

It's my first post so give me a share, a comment and rate me if you can :)

Happy Cartoons

I have started a little side project where I try to make the world a better place through my cartoons. It sounds silly, but I know how simple things can make your day.

I am regularly doing general motivational cartoons with a positive message, but I am also asking people to get in touch and tell me their story and I will draw them a cartoon (for free) and share it online.

Here are 2 examples of my new project:

So if you are feeling down, having a rubbish day or just find things tough - get in touch. You can find me on twitter @happy_cartoons and on tumblr

Glasgow's New Year's Resolution

2014 was Glasgow's year as it was the year we hosted the Commonwealth Games. It was the year we realised people make Glasgow - with their hearts, heads and humour. With the world watching Scotland this year I have never been prouder to be a weegie - let's keep the pace going. Onwards and upwards! Stay Pure Dead Brilliant Glasgow.

Here is my wee tribute to my city - it is the famous duke of wellington statue wearing the traffic cone that the locals campaigned to keep firmly placed on the duke's head. #OnlyInGlasgow

Happy Hogamany, happy new year, all the best for 2015!

Tis the season to ROCK

I'm really getting into the festive spirit now! I watched It's A Wonderful Life for the FIRST time today. Where has the Christmas film been all my life??? I've also been doodling and this little fella sprang to mind so I thought I would share.
Anyway - tis the season to rock, despite ACDC not reaching Christmas number 1 in the charts.

Merry Christmas - I hope you have been good this year

I can hardly believe it is Christmas again already. I feel that I have just got over Halloween. Anyway to mark the occasion and get into the holiday spirit here is a festive karentoon!

I hope you all behaved and Santa gives you what you really want this Christmas...or I hope you had lots of fun being naughty! I'm sure it was worth it!

Merry Christmas!
